Can you believe I got this whole outfit from Target?! Okay, if you’ve seen my other outfit posts, you can definitely believe it because I clearly love shopping there lol.
Being inspired by the G.O.A.T- Aimee Song, I decided to get into the monochromatic (one color) trend that’s going around this fall. The first part of the outfit, the velvet jacket, was a no-brainer. As soon as I saw this beauty, I knew I had to have it! I then saw the boots next and immediately knew they would go perfect with the jacket. The rest of the outfit was tricky- trying to find pieces that matched but didn’t match TOO much, pieces that didn’t take away from the jacket and boots but still wanting different textures/prints. Confusing, I know lol. I ended up with this crop top and plaid skirt to satisfy my long list of needs. Plus, plaid is SO in right now.
In the past, it took me a while to figure out what was “missing” from some of the outfits I’ve worn. Well, it was a purse! Now I believe that a purse is essential and is the perfect way to complete an outfit. So, here is what we have! I hope you enjoyed my monochromatic burgundy fall look!
Sidenote…I am trying to get better with being consistent with my outfit/blog posts. I took a few months off (not buying a lot of clothes) to focus on my budget and getting rid of my credit card debt. It was hard and I definitely got discouraged since I wasn’t able to post as many outfit pics as I wanted. But, I realize that if I want to establish a relationship with you guys, consistency must be my #1 focus! Thanks for sticking with me! 🙂
